My girlfriend and I did a 3 day/2 night Colca Canyon homestay trekk with our amazing guide Carlitos and everything was perfect from start to finish Although the cost is a little higher, it is worth every bit and includes, Snacks, walking sticks, airport pick up and drop off and higher quality meals on the way (everything included). First night was homestay which was comfortable, we had a room with private toilet and hot shower in a small community called “Tapay” (Not touristic place)
We did the 3 day - 2 night trip in the colca canyon and absolutely enjoyed it. Everything was well arranged by our guide Ivan. Because of Ivan’s knowledge and jokes the trip was unforgettable. We walked in a small group (only 3 people) which we enjoyed. Also, the food was great and the accommodations simple but perfect. Would definitely recommend!

We took a private tour of Colca Canyon with Ivan (guide) and Absinthe (driver). Everything was very pleasant and quiet because we were able to see all the viewpoints and do short trekking without many people. This was possible because Ivan chose to move at different times from those of the other tours and this allowed us to see the places calmly and alone. Ivan gave us a lot of information to understand and know the places and history. Absinthe drives impeccably.
